If anyone has extra material scraps or an overabundance of fabric not used and would like to pass my way I am in the process of making some dollys and teddy bears for the Kids on Peds who have cancer and are receiving chemo. Peds was the floor I worked on when I was in high school and college for 4 years.
Theres nothing like hugging a dolly or teddy when your not feeling well.

And I want to remind all the ladies here to make sure they get their yearly mammogram and do those self breast exams.
Our good health is so important to us and to those lives who we touch everyday!
I will continue to post this message once a month until a cure can be found for breast cancer and any other type of cancer!

hi anniebelle,
I would be glad to send you some scraps and fat quarters, just let me know where to send them. my e-mail is <email address removed for privacy>
I had my first mamogram this year, it was uncomfortable but well worth it for the peace of mind!

pbknudson,
I'm in Cheyenne. Are there any good fabric stores in Casper? We lost Joanns this year, so we are down to Walmart, Hobby Lobby, and Hancocks.
I really miss Joanns because of the 50%off coupons!!

anniebelle,
I got your e-mail. I'll mail you the material on Monday.

Have a great day!!

Bookworm,
Our Joann's in on the way out too. It wasn't managed well and always had a big mess, especially after they started adding lower quality fabrics. It now is neater than ever before & most fabric is 60% off. They even have more help than they did before! I think they close at the end of the month. We have Hancocks, Walmart and Hobby Lobby and Prism Quilts - which has beautiful fabrics but is more expensive. There is a nice quilt shop in Douglas near Pamida that I just found (even tho it's been there a while I'm sure) and she has some neat western fabrics. We drive to Cheyenne just to fabric shop once in a while just for some variety.
