I know the hip hugger pants are very popular these days, but what are some of these teenage girls thinking? There's been at least 3 girls from our high school recently that had on pants so low, you could see their pubic line. Not to mention their back sides showing when they sit down. Why did their parents let them out of the house like that?? Hip huggers are one thing, but pubic pants??? |

I know! I am 25 and I can't believe it myself. And what's worse is they all seem to have their thongs showing too. My father would have killed me for wearing something like that. I can't wait until this trend ends. Leticia |

When I was in high school I left the house in jeans and a t shirt. by the time I was at school I was wearing a micro mini with suspenders and sport bra as a shirt and get this silver booties lace up shoes with lace knit socks. Hair as big as it gets and wings out to there. My parents were divorced and father lived in another state. Mom called him and told him he thought I came home drunk from a party the night before. Geee Fire engine nose and ears and it was 80 degrees out. He showed up at my school and saw what I was wearing. Two days later I was at Williamsburg Millitary academy in South Carolina. A long ways from California. Maybe the parents ought to give up thier two martini work lunches and take thier kid out for a surprised lunch. then see who would be surprised. The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

Oh I have to agree about the trend now. Thank goodness my girls don't go that far. Although they seem found of the thongs. Thankfully my girls follow the trend to a point, they want to fit in, but they don't want to look like a "Hoo" as they call it... I once made a pair of low rise pants for my youngest and when she sat down, they would go too low... ...she wouldn't wear them unless she had on a shirt that went long enough.. I learned after that to adjust them. Trish So much Fabric, so little time.

Have you heard that some of these hip huggers are causing nerve damage? Basically those that it happens to are wearing pants that are way too tight and the pressure is pinching nerves in the hip, buttock area. What people do for fashion. LOL

Oh, I agree with everyone here! I get a kick out of the girls who are wearing them that have this ring of fat spilling out of the top of their pants. Have they looked in a mirror lately? |

My sister-in-law and I were walking behind a girl wearing hip huggers at the mall. They were tight, but were riding down everytime she walked. She had to stop every few steps and hike them back up. We were just rolling with laughter. We had to stop for a cinammon roll because we laughed so hard we got hungry
