Does anyone have this serger? If so, what do you think of it? What features does it have that you really like or dislike? What about threading? Easy or hard? I am thinking of getting this one and would like some opinions on it! Thanks Jennifer |

Hey Jen I had this one first til I went up to the 634D and then the 888 compulock. I liked it for a first machine it is easy to thread once my son showed me that on the lower looper the arm comes down for easy threading instead of using the tweesers to thread under the bed. The thing I hated about it was that I would get all the tensions just right and then would have to stop to take care of a kid or make a meal or sleep and while I was away from teh machine my cat would play with the threads in the front of the machine. It was not the machines fault but that is the only thing I did not like. when I got the 634D it had all the threads contained in the machine except in the back like all the other serger.
The more you disaprove, the more fun I am having!

hi jennifer, so how are you getting on? i just wanted to add that the 204 is a big improvement on it's predecessor, the 134D. i'm sure you'e found by now that switching to rolled hem is quite easy? |
