Hi,
The blade on my serger will not come down into cutting position,
when I press the button it comes part of the way, but not low enough to cut. I have checked location and position of blade-it seems to be correct. Any suggestions about how to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Merry Christmas--what kind of serger do you have? I think the best solution would be to take it to a dealer. Just don't know of any other advise I can give you. this is a new to me.

Sidekick,
Maybe it is hung in between spaces.. try swinging it all the way up out of the way again, then back down into working position, and see if that will work.. Mine did that once and I found the tiniest bit of lint in the spring handle, cleaned it out and it worked fine after that..
