my friend brought over her serger for me to borrow indefinitely (yay!) and i've dinked around on it a tiny bit. problem is, i can't figure out how to do ANYTHING and am scared to adjust anything either. it is a simplicity serger and she lost the manual for it... any help would be appreciated!!! the simplicity website seems to just have patterns, nowhere i can order a new manual.

help please!

Bren - thank you! Now I have a manual, what a big help! That site allows you to download the manual for any serger for free. (I had been erroneously looking at simplicity.com which only has patterns, not machiens).

OK, part 2 of my question - does anyone know how I can get the accessories for the serger that my friend has misplaces (rolled hem throat plate, blind hem presser foot, etc). I put in an email to simplicitysewing.com's customer service and am waiting on their reply. I also looked on eBay with no luck.

Bren, thanks again - you are an angel!

Have you tried a sewing machine repair store or a store that sells sergers? Those would be the only places I could think of.

That brand is handled "all over the place" I think that even Nancy's Notions might have had one in their catalog. If you check the internet, you should find someone reliable who handles that brand serger and accessories.
