Any one ever purchased their machine on line? It is so much cheaper for me to buy US on line than Canadian, though I don't get the benefit of the lessons which are provided, yet I can still get the machine serviced here very easily. Thoughts?? Laura

I have purchased a serger and a sewing machine from dealers on line. They were less than the original price and also unavailable locally because they were discontinued models. These were new items and not factory refurbished and I am very pleased both purchases. One of the on line dealers even threw in a free walking foot with my sewing machine purchase. |

As long as it's from a reputable dealer, and you know that a local dealer will honor the warranty. Sometimes they won't repair it under warranty if it was purchased online (or at a place like Walmart).
