Hello! I'm just getting the hang of my new serger... (and my sewing machine for that matter!). I'd like to make some double layer flannel receiving blankets, and wonder if my serger would be the way to go. So far, I've only used regular serger thread... are there some decorative threads that would work well for my blankets? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I like to use woolly nylon it makes a nice soft edge. I particularly like the YLI "Extra" woolly.
