She bought a simplicity surger three years ago and never used it much. Now I get to learn how to use it.

My 12 year old daughter taught me how to thread it! :whacky: Sure wish that genius gene had not skipped a generation (me).

Wish me luck!

That's OK cclebl,

My spell checker doesn't even think it is a word when spelled correctly. Both ways are correct if you sound it out so we knew what you meant.

When I first bought my serger I only used it to finish seams, then to make diapers. I used it that way for years. Now with the help of ladies here on the site I am learning how to use it more creatively. I have ventured into rolled hems, and using it to gather (still working on this one I haven't quite perfected it yet).

Sergers are a lot of fun. I use mine more than my regular machine now. Have fun and play around until you get a feel for it.

Lucky you!!

I got my first ( and only) serger when my mom passed away. I only use it for finishing seams. It is a three thread machine and a B* to thread. I have my s/o do that for me...lol

Someday I hope to upgrade and then maybe I will learn something else to use it for....haha
