Hi. I am about to start a contract with a cheerleading uniform company where I will be sewing cheerleading uniforms and gymnast's leotards. What kind of machine do I need so that I can serge the Lycra material that the leotards will be made of as well as the regular poly/cotton material that the uniforms will be made of?

Are you going to be doing 100's of things? You may need an industrial model to hold up to that kind of use, otherwise a good 5 or 4 thread model with a differential feed would be ok, but most home machines are not designed for hours of continual sewing

Message to user of MyLock serger

I have a serger Mylock234D, can I be of any help. I am quite new to this serging, but I tried it once when it was demonstrated to me. Are these quite similar in use? Please let me know if I can help.
