Thought some of you might benefit from info I Have found from trying to get My above machine to work. After 3 trips to repairman and more than $70.00 to get it to quit skipping stitches, I found that the 14 U234 requires its own special needles and even the repairman did not know this. SingerCo.com stayed with me on the problem. Got the needles today and tried them out. No skipped stitches immediately.
