I'm getting an early Christmas present today!!! DH bought me a Juki 4 thread serger. I think my poor little 5 thread Singer is on it's last legs (from the way it sounds) and I'm right in the middle of Christmas costumes so DH bought me a new Juki today (654 DES). Anyone have any good or bad comments about the Juki sergers? Patsy Patsy

I have a Juki 654 DE and I like it a lot. I find it to be easy to thread and a very solid machine. You should love it! |

Congrats on your new serger! I bought a huskylock not too long ago and am learning how to use it and really enjoy it so I know that even though you've owned a serger before you'll have tons of fun learning the new one!!

So far, I'm really enjoying using the Juki serger. I sat down first thing and rethreaded it to make sure I knew how to do it and was really surprised at how easy it is to thread. The lower looper that pops down is a dream rather than putting a crick in my neck trying to see back inside the machine to thread it and it sews a whole lot faster than my Singer did. However, my Singer 5 thread was a good machine and served me well for the last 8 or 9 years. It's just that I put a whole lot of miles on a serger with almost constant use. Patsy Patsy
