The serger I have was left rusty, after brushing, I followed the thread structure on the serger to put the threats on the right position. when overlocking 4 cottons didn't stich to together? would anyone help me with this prob. Regards. |

Wow, it sounds like a timing adjustment that probably needs to be made by a tech. Sergers are rather their own kind of beast.

I'm sorry, I just noticed that you have a unique location and may not necessarily have access to help. There is a 35 veteran sewing machine service tech on board the Sew-Whats-New members. His name and ID is Tom Land. Why not PM him and see if he can help. There is another that is really good with sewing machines. His name is Bill Holman, but I can't find his ID. Maybe Tom can give you a few ideas. pam

I found Bill on one of the board posts tonight. He was a sewing machine store owner for decades. His id is wghmch. I'd try either or both of these guys and see if they can give you any assistance.

Lina, I am also wondering if you threaded the 4 threads in the right order. You have to do the lower looper first, then the upper looper, then the right and left needles. I think this is universal for most machines but I could be wrong. I'm sure either Bill or Tom will have the right answer for you. Good luck!
