Any suggestions on how to keep my serger from spinning circles while I sew? I am doing some wicked fast serging and the machine is turning in a circle. This has happend a few times before but it was just like I would serge a whole garment and by the time I was done it would sit a little to the side. Now it is in the same position after almost no time. If it turns anymore I would have to go to the end of the table to face it.

Try a piece of that rubbery, gripper shelf-liner stuff under your serger. You can probably get some at the dollar store.
Take care,

Duh! Now why didn't I think of that? I use that stuff for everything else that slides. I will try that and let you know how it works.
Thanks Donna! You're the greatest!

That's what I use under mine and it works great. Also use it under the foot pedal to keep it from going under the table leg.

Works like a dream. I think I will put it under the other stuff I have on my desk too because I almost bounced my laptop right onto my lap :bg: . An added bonus is that the cut off scraps didn't fall on the floor they stuck to the rubbery grip stuff. Maybe I'll just cover the whole desktop with the stuff and nothing will slide off again.

Gina, my sewing machine sits back a bit from the edge of my desk as I have the plexiglass quilting table that fits on the machine. I alway use the space under the quilting table to put my snips, seam rippers, etc. But I found that round things like the seam ripper, pencils, etc. were always rolling off the table. So I have put a strip of gripper - I found bright pink - along the front of my desk. I love it - keeps that *#!? seam ripper from rolling. I tried it under my pedal but it didn't work well as I found it kept moving....so I have put the hook piece of velcro on the bottom of the pedal and it hooks into my carpet. That works better for me.
