I am encouraged by Magot to tell my favourite joke but you will have to supply your own expletive. A guy living alone decided to get a pet for company but nothing so mundane as a dog,cat or canary.. The pet shop owner offered lizards, snakes, spiders etc but none appealed to him. Finally the owner said well there is one very unusual pet that you may consider - a centipede! At last the ideal pet! It was put in a very tiny box with very, very fine mesh in one side and was paid for and taken home by the lonely fellow. After settling it on the kitchen counter the guy decided to go out for a drink and thinking the centipede might be lonely he said " I'm going for a drink, want to come along ?" No response. In a louder voice "I said I'm going to the bar for a drink - do you want to come?" Still no answer so he goes right up to the cage, puts his face against the mesh and yells the invitation for the third time. A tiny voice answers " I heard you the first time - I'm putting on my #%^~ing shoes ! Lise
