Hello, I'm new here and have just started sewing recently. I live in Edinburgh in Scotland and have a little boy that I sew for.
So far I have mainly sewn bedding, baby clothes and diapers/nappies.
The main reason I want to buy a serger or overlocker, is to sew fitted diapers and to give a nice finish to clothing.
I can't afford a really expensive model, and to be honest don't think I would use most of the functions on a fancy serger.
I wondered if anyone here could advise me on the Brother 9600td, I have seen one on Ebay and have been in contact with the seller, it sounds as if it would do what I need, but I don't know much about it.
I would be grateful for any advice on this machine if anyone has used it or heard anything about it.
Thank you in advance
Maisie
