Just had to share this funny story..everytime I think about it, I giggle.
My husband and I teach 3rd grade Sunday School at our church. We on the average have about 8-10 little 3rd graders with all VERY distinct personalities!!
So one day a couple of weeks back, we were having a little competition between the girls and boys and the boys were winning. One of the little boys was sitting by me and had been leaning over whispering the "boys rule, girls drool" thingy and finally he sorta leans over and he whispers ever so quietly that "boys go to college to get more knowledge:girls to to Jupiter to get more stupider."
Then he acted like he'd said nothing and went back to the little game. I was about to crack up outloud and interupt everything my husband was saying at this and had to bite my tonque to not laugh. I finally regained my composure and I said "that is not a nice thing to say." Once I told my husband he rolled.
What was so funny to me was I was in a horrid mood when I woke up that morning and could've stayed in bed but got up and got going anyway. His little aside made me laugh so hard on the inside I couldn't help but be cheery after that!
I think I'll always remember that!

I had seven children and now 15 grandchildren, but the funniest thing I have heard from them was way back from my youngest son (now 40). He was 4 at the time. I was listening to them all say their prayers and when Jay's turn came he was racing through all the requested blessings at a great rate and I said, "Slow down, Jay. I can't understand what you're saying." Without a second's slowdown he answered, "God can." I really felt put in my place! MariLynntx :coffee2:

Mari--that's funny!! Reminded me of the time I asked my oldest if she wanted to write Santa Claus a letter to tell him what she wanted for Christmas and she says to me "he knows." That was all she said AT ALL!
