During my struggle on the needles for my used baby lock, I got a hold of Schmetz. I am in awe of their excellent service. Within days, Schemtz sent me sample needles for my serger plus literatures, from Germany. One of them outlines what type of needle is for which overlocker. Of course, not all dealers service all brands which makes it impossible for the dealers to know all our needle needs. But a comparison on my serger alone proves the Schemtz database is more acurate than a few US sites and dealers. It takes forever to scan them to a readable form (but I'm trying). If anyone has any question regarding which needle is recommended for your current or future serger/overlockers, please post them here. If I can locate them on the data sheet, I will respond before I have the image up. - Robin

I've put up the spec sheets for serger/overlocker needles. There're about 250 brand/models of sergers/overlockers listed. Three pages in total (page down to see page 2 & 3): http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/bluebirdie_ca/detail?.dir=f964&.dnm=f6f4.jpg&.src=ph Happy serging! - Robin

Robin, thanks for the list. It's always nice to have something to refer to!
