In appreciation for all the great replies I've received over the past months everytime I've posted questions, I'm pleased to pass this info just found online.  Realizing I'm going to have to stock up now that my serger has been ordered, I've been googling (and every other search engine) for best pricing on serger thread and came across Vogue Fabric Store. They have 3000 yds of Super-Lock Serger Cones in 20 colors for only $1.99. Also 6000 yds of Black or White only for $2.99 per spool. I'm pretty sure that's even better than all the coupon deals and sales at local shops like JoAnn's and Hancock's. If you found a better price, please let us all know. I don't recall buying Superlock before. But these are great prices. I looked at a few things on that site and their price is very reasonable. Thanks for sharing! BTW Things in your boutique look nice. - Robin

Thanks for the nice compliment re my website boutique. I've got a funky main apparel page in there right now because I'm trying to get it Search Engine Optimized by myself, with guidance from my web consultant. She's really busy right now and hasn't had a chance to tell me how to correct the problem.  I'm delighted to pass along this great price link. It's really nice to be able to "pay back" everyone who's been so helpful in some way, instead of always being the one asking the questions and needing help. I was at JoAnn's this afternoon, and they did have some $1.99 Brand Unknown serger thread. I did buy 1 spool of peach because that's the first color I'm going to need, but their other brands were quite a bit higher than the $1.99 know brand--Superlock--at the Vogue Fabric website. Amy |
