Hello! I really hope someone can help me, I'm tearing my hair out!
I have the babylock evolve and I'm trying to serge a slippery fabric but it keeps 'slipping' away from the needle and away from the feed dogs completely.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can stop this from happening?
Thanks so much if you can help!!!

I have not had this problem on any of my sergers and I don't know your Evolve's design but if you have a foot pressure control try adjusting it to see if this helps your problem.

A couple of things to try or look at would be you pressure foot, lighten the foot pressure as more. The other item to try it using old fashioned tissue paper. I will use tissue paper between my fabric & the feed dogs on my serger and my sewing machine on fine and/or slippery fabric for more control. The tissue paper tears off with no problem after sewing. Another thought is to stiffen up the fabric, making some homemade starch, giving the fabric more stablity.

Fabric that was just too difficult to handle to sew properly:

if it is washable, try starching your fabric, sewn the garment, and then washed out the starch. I have done this and it has worked well for me.

Thanks all, I found the solution on my serger group....It was as easy as adjusting the differential feed. Thanks again for your suggestions!!

Yes, the DF will hold fabric taught or gather but when you said "slipping"..I thought you meant the fabric was slipping off from the foot and feed..I would have guessed the foot pressure needed adjustment. I'm glad all is ok now.
