I was listening to the radio one day, they were talking about embarrassing stories and a woman rang in to tell them hers, i was tears laughing! She had an appointment with the gynaecologist and she was running around the house as usual. She went into the bathroom to "freshen up" before seeing the doctor, as you do, and because she was in a hurry just grabbed the nearest face cloth she could find. When she went to the Gynaecologist and she was being examined, the doctor said to her, "Well, you really made an effort today!". She couldn't figure out what he meant, it was only when she went home and saw the face cloth she used she realised, her 5yr old daughter had been playing with glitter earlier and she used the face cloth to clean it up!!!! Didn't see that coming at ALL! Hilarious. I'm sure the GYN didn't either and he/she has probably seen a lot of things you and I don't even want to think about! Yikes! Thanks for that laugh. Lennie |

I've heard my mother tell this to people several times. This happened years ago when I was a kid. She said her gynecologist and his nurse came into the exam room where she waiting wearing the little gown they gave her. They were trying not to laugh but both of them cracked up. She said when the doctor got his breath, he apologized and told her he was not laughing at her and told her what had just happened. Apparently the woman he had just examined had taken a kleenex from her purse to clean herself when she went to the bathroom before her exam and didn't look at the kleenex before using it. She had an S&H greenstamp stuck to her. The doctor said "Well, I've heard you can get them most anywhere now." A friend who goes to the same gynecologist that I do told me this one. It's even funnier to us because we know him. She was waiting on the exam table when he and the nurse walked in trying not to laugh. They kept trying to say they weren't laughing at her. She finally said, "well only two people in here are laughing and the other one is naked, so tell me what's so funny." He said he had just examined an elderly patient and the light at the end of the table near the stirrups where he was sitting kept sliding down. He put it back several times and remarked to his nurse, "This thing is worn out." He said the elderly lady busted out laughing (she knew what he was talking about ) and said, "yes doc, but you don't know what it's been through." |
