My husband received this in a legal listserve. It is hilarious, but I'm warning the language is a bit R, but nothing that isn't on TV anymore.

I love those guys.
One time some guy called to sell me a new phone service. I told him I don't have a phone. Really got him going.
Another time I told a guy selling windows that I have all my windows boarded over.
But I've never had any that good.

I like the siding people who call me..I tell'em to come on over...I wanna see'em attach the siding to my (all) brick house !!!:bg:
(then I give'em the kicker...I used to work for a company in CA that DID siding, shutters, ducting, etc for mobile and regular homes...they can't tell me siding never needs replacing...it does...):bg: :bg: :bg:

I have one for you ... years ago my husband was in A/C Repair & Installation. There was another company who's name was very similar and they weren't very reputable. They would call around and try to get people to accept their "special tune-up offer". During the "tune-up" they would let out freon or break a tip off and cause the freon to leak and then tell the customer that they needed a whole new unit. My husband found this out when he had to go and repair a unit they broke. Well, anyway, one day they called me! HaHa!! I let this guy go through his 10 minute dialogue then I told him that I could get the same thing for a much better price, free, in fact! He asked how I could do that and I very calmly told him that my husband was in the a/c business and he would do it! He asked me why I didn't tell him that in the first place and I calmly told him that I didn't feel like it!
