Grandma, make sure your looper cover door is shut all the way. Some sergers have this as a safety feature before they will start. Is your serger making a noise to start sewing? I suggest to check all plugs that they are in all the way to the machine and wall. I have never used a Europro but sergers usually have to be threaded in proper sequence..first thread upper looper, then lower looper with the lower looper thread put over the upper looper arm..then thread the needles last. Sergers models do vary when it comes to threading the needles. Some models suggest to thread the right one first and some suggest to thread the left one first. Do as your model's manual suggests. The main thing is to be sure that your needle threads are free and clear and put to the back and left of the needles. Should you ever have to rethread the loopers..always be sure your needle threads are free and clear and to the back and left before serging again. I hope this helps. Good luck to you. |

Without seeing what is going on there is really no way to tell what the problem is from your description. I assume you are familiar with sergers if you bought a Europro so if You can't get it to work you should probably get it replaced while it is still new and you can.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom
