For all of you who are married, were married, wish you were married, glad you're not married, or wish you weren't married, this is something to smile about the next time you open a box of chocolates. Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road. As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride. With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car. Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a white bag on the seat next to Sally. "What's in bag?" asked the old woman. Sally looked down at the white bag and said, "It's a box of chocolates. I got it for my husband". The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two. Then, speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder, she said, "Good trade." Chrys

I don't know what I'd get for mine. What's an ex-engineer/project manager worth? PS - I don't like chocolate. Weezy |

My downfall is Jalapeno potato chips and hard dark bread. I used to like chocolate until I ran into a bad brownie in a TV dinner. As for what husband is worth - should I auction him on Ebay? Weezy |

There was a guy here in Australia who has just auctioned himself on ebay. It was to take over his life and lifestyle, which was really funny. He was an unemployed beach bum, but he even threw in surfing lessons. He sold for $7500Au, so I dont know if you'd make much Weezy. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110078904033&rd=1&rd=1 Dont know if the link will work, as the auction has finished. Cheers, Soph.

Soph, thanks so much for posting that! How creative, brave, unusual and just plain weird! How fun to read. Guess we could check out his MyPage to see how it's going. Lennie |
