I am hoping to purchase a serger and want the most for my money. Which one should I not buy? I have a Necchi machine and can probably get a discount to buy the serger. How do those rate?

I don't know anything about the Necchi machines. I have a Husky 910 and really like it-it does not have a coverstitch but I've not missed it.

There are a lot of good sergers out there. The best thing is to try them all out using your own fabric. Make sure it feels good to you and is easy to operate. Necchi's current line is good but I would still check out others first. Do not let price be the determining factor.
Have fun or don't do it, Tom
